Nah, they can't. I bought one freshman (last) year, and actually gave this a try in the comfort of my own dorm room. Of course, I had drank a full pitcher before I thought of trying this, so the piss was pretty clear, but by no means filtered. It even made it more, what did the video say, viscous.

Lost interest, threw the filter away after that and put the filterles pitcher in the back of the wardrobe they gave us.

Guess it's time to pull it out again. The pitcher...

the brita pitchers are a pain in the ass to keep full. I couldn't handle it. had to switch to a water cooler. It's like a dollar for 5 gallons and its always there in both hot and cold. They have mini dorm sized ones available to with gallon jugs.

But now i have this extra brita pitcher not being used. I'm seriously considering pissing in it and seeing if it really will turn it to water.

Brita's don't do jack shit, they're just carbon filters that absorb some impurities. If you want great tasting water, invest in an RO filter (reverse osmosis). If you filter your water that way, it's exactly like buying Dasani and many other brands of bottled water.

RO filters will turn your piss into water, I drink my own all the time and it's fucking fantastic.

If you want great tasting water, invest in an RO filter (reverse osmosis). If you filter your water that way, it's exactly like buying Dasani and many other brands of bottled water.

A lot of branded bottled water are shit! Not even as safe as tap water. Why? Coz tap water is administrated by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) who has higher standards and regulations than the FDA. Also, dangerous toxins from some plastic water bottles can leach into your water.

I use a water filter like that. I never change the filter though so I'm pretty sure it does nothing for me. But talk about cheap!
