It is because "Black" is considered as an inferior color to white, at least when this skin color stuff is the topic. And they shouldn't find it as an insult to call the white people "White". How do you react when someone says "Stupid" and "Good" on your face. I bet your face would show different expressions to those different words.
Now go out and call all those "White" people ..hmm... "Pale Colored" or "Coarse White" or "White with ugly spots on their skin". They wouldn't like it.

Early product review:
- I had performance problems with Blackbird. Even the installer was difficult to download: the file transfer speed was much slower than that of most mainstream ‘white’ programs; though to be fair, it could jump higher and had an extra bone in its ankle.
- Once I actually had the program installed, getting Blackbird to work properly proved to be a chore - the browser kept quitting in the middle of complex tasks and blaming other programs for each of its failures.
- Chase Manhattan Bank’s automated Billpay service normally takes an average of 3-5 days to distribute funds to creditors. Using Blackbird, the timing was increased to 31-40 days, making it very difficult for blacks to pay their bills on time.
- Spellcheck problems abound in Blackbird, as the browser’s built-in correction filters tried to replace the word ‘Ask’ with ‘Axe’, ‘That’ with ‘Dat’, and ‘Nut’ with ‘Mah Muthafuckin DICK.’
- Spellcheck also failed in its inability to recognize the words ‘Responsibility’, ‘Appreciation’, ‘Subtlety’, ‘Self-Control’, ‘Satisfaction’, and ‘Initiative’.
Seriously, this looks like a browser for 5 year olds who can't find basic resources on the web. Let's make it all black and target a racial minority, oh wait that's what they did..
If you are white, and you're trying to install blackbird, this may be a problem. But if you are a black ghetto person that this targets... it wouldn't matter as any review would be favorable without a computer to install it on. :eek7:
