:) :) :) :) :)

Very, very grateful for this.

is this like a gopro?

WHY AREN'T YOU BANNED YET, YOU FUCKING SHITHEEL??

@ Eskil- you cocksucker, I am so fucking jealous, I can't stand it. I am so happy for you though, you are truly a class act and deserve every bit of the success your hard work and good instincts have brought you. I can't wait to get my package.

Good On Ya, Mate.

So.... you going to be shipping this month?

Got my wife to order this as well as vouched to my friends you were a "legit kickstarter" and would actually ship a product. Now I know you likely still are but they are certainly starting to mock me about it - I'm still sticking up for you though!

Perhaps you should ship out some extras with the orders after being so late? Such as the GoPro adapter to regular orders ect.

Also keep seeing emails advertising new features, new phone mount, new colours, new other mounts, carrying cases... none of these emails are clear if any of these are things your early supporters will be receiving or if it's all for more $ or what?

So you're saying OP didn't deliver?!?!

I'm assuming manufacturing is overseas. If so I'd cut this guy some slack.

Chinese suppliers always over-promise and under-deliver. It's typically not a problem except for your first order. On your first order you have no idea when the product will come in and the only thing you can go off of is what the manufacturer tells you. That's likely what happened here.

Has anyone got the Stayblscam yet?

No. I already said his emails stated delivery sometime soon.

Regular emails have been sent. Communication has been OK, but could be better. Focus seems to have been on new accessories, new colours, etc, with little information as to how that pertains to people who have already bought the product.

Really sad about this. Hope the OP comes and gives us an update.

I'm more interested in the story after the kickstarter funding came through. Always like to hear about the processes behind the scenes.

Either way, looking for an update

Jeeze, you'd think someone died. I don't think it's anything to get sad over. I'm pretty sure the OP will deliver, albeit late. Not the first product that's come to market behind schedule, not the last. Would like to have a more personal update too, don't get me wrong, but I'm not worried that this is a failure.

Cut the guy some slack, it's a Kickstarter product and they are ALWAYS late, especially when your buying something off the back of a prototype. A lot of the time it's because the Chinese fuck up the batch and the mass produced version has a flaw or something that is unacceptable.

He is probably releasing more accessories and colours during the delay period because it is not him delaying but his manufacturer, and aint no time like the present to diversify the fucking cash cow. You entered into a crowdfunding campaign which gave you an ESTIMATED shipping time, not actual. So sit down, shut up, and wait patiently for your GoPro stabiliser, like everone else has waited patiently to get their shit off Kickstarter, every time ever.

Time for a thread update :)

Hey everyone!
My sincere apologies for the lack of updates in this thread. Glad to see people are still watching it though, and eagerly awaiting my product!

So yes, there have been a few delays - which is almost inevitable when you're dealing with manufacturing. Especially also because this product consists of over a dozen different components, and there are multiple suppliers involved - each on their own schedule, and with adjustments / communication taking time. Many things depend upon one another, so coordination of all the steps really takes constant work and attention.

Believe me - I have NOT been sitting back and relaxing since the Kickstarter ended. :) Taking a concept like this from prototype into full-scale production does of course take a lot.
Not trying to make excuses here, just wanting to explain the reasons behind the delay.

BUT, delayed as we may be - we are getting very very close now.
Our last official update posted to our Kickstarter page and newsletter can be seen here:
Worldwide StayblCam Delivery Scheduled for October!

Again, one component in particular (the mobile phone adapter) had to be done just right, or it wouldn't work. So it's better to get things done absolutely right instead of rushing it out there.

Here are some various pics from during the mold-making and manufacturing process, first package / case tests, etc.

In other news - we are talking to some big distributors in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East as well - and will be shown on a certain big cable network this fall. Lots of stuff going on but we WILL DEFINITELY be shipping out ALL pre-ordered StayblCam units here as soon as we possibly can. I don't think the wait is gonna be that much longer! :)

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you guys might have too. Feel free to shoot!

Ok so to clarify - ALL units that are shipping out will have the new, rounded adapter, as seen in the above image :)

Thanks for cutting me slack :)
Actually, we are manufacturing in the USA but there are certain suppliers we still had to wait on from overseas. Can't blame it on China. Just a tedious mold-making process + getting everything working right.

I have laid out more details on a paid forum I'm part of, but I can also take questions about the behind the scenes stuff if you want to learn more.
