Firefox 3 is fucking well pissing me off!!!

Don't tell me I'm the only one on the fucking planet who might have a bookmarks file of 4.7 MB and expect it to import seamlessly without crashing the fuck out of Firefox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's anything like FF2x then you should be able to drop the bookmarks.html file manually.

but... as angry as you seem to be right now, I'm guessing it's not that easy with ver3? I ignore the nags to upgrade right now so as not to mess up my plugins.

I've calmed down slightly - the interface for restoring bookmarks is fine, it just kept on crapping out on me. Even after just dropping the bookmarks.html file into the necessary folder would result in a complate freeze at startup.

It's definitely quicker, but if it gives me any more problems, I'm going straight back to FF2.

Yeah, I've gotten my bookmarks to carry over but it crashes like 5 times a day.

That being said, I also switched over to a new VAIO laptop with Vista so I don't know if that could be the problem as well.

The thing I don't like is when you drag tabs they won't scroll when you get to the right or left edge like it did in FF2. At least on my Mac.
