Thats some really scary shit there. You gotta wonder what the fuck they are planning on doing and how soon?

Edit: Its the Presidential alert system that they are testing. Its to give the president access to all of these devices. Which they arnt going to fully test. This makes this even more sketchy in my mind
 
I have $100 on Iran has a strike against it within the next 6 weeks, and the draft is reinstated within the US within the next 8 months.
 
I'm still wondering who will see this if it is needed... It's TV, not the web, afterall.

Sadly, if it is ever really needed the only people to be 'saved' by such a warning is those drooling morons who sit around watching soap operas all day and not anyone of importance.
 
I don't think the draft will be used again anytime soon, but if so it would be done in a president's second term.

Pretty tough for the US to win Iran without a draft though. They could always use WMDs, but that probably wouldn't be very popular.

And anyone with any semblance of common sense will know Iran is going to be getting some good 'ole fashioned freedom juice in the near future. Just look at a world map. Not going into Iran negates the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, plus about 20+ years of US foreign policy.
 
totally missed it. ESPN warned it was coming, then said "you may have just seen that"...unless it was 5 seconds long and I was looking away (entirely plausible) we never got it down here
 
Was listening to the radio and it was on, bunch of gobbily gook though. Lots of static, I guess that's a semi success eh?
 
I saw it.

It was like a blue or purple page with white text on it. It scrolled through 3 pages in different languages.

My TV went to some weird channel and after it was over there was a command prompt on a Fedora system lol...
 
XM/Sirius Radio broke in.. for like 5 seconds.

Started the beeeep beeeep beeeep... like 2 words then nothing.

If the US military had just a bit of what they have now in WWII, then there wouldn't have been many soldiers shooting at them as they stormed the beaches at Normandy. Those outposts and troops would already have been destroyed from miles away.

If they want a ground invasion of Iran, they will do most of the damage from the air first. The US spends 100 times more a year than Iran on their military. Saudi Arabia, Israel, the UK, and the other US allies that would likely help also spend a lot more than Iran.

Iran has a bigger army than Iraq did, but the US could just spend more time attacking from the skies first.
