First Thailand, then Hawaii.. now Malta?

Been a few times for work and holidays. It is a cheap place to eat and drink. Practically everyone speaks English. Plenty of places to go if you're the partying type. However, in the summer it's really hot, over 40C. It's quite crowded. It sort of feels like an English outpost, e.g. they drive on the left and there are English phone booths, banks etc. The people are a bit old fashioned.

The younger women can be really pretty but they get very fat after 30.

Mdina the whispering city is worth a visit, so is Valletta, and the casino there is great. And yep the local language is arabic-ish and really bizarre sounding.

Don't go there if you plan on killing anyone - there's nowhere to run. Just sayin'.

And from Malta you can fly to Italy really cheaply.

Pics or it never happened.

You prolly googling those places from your local library and imagining that you went there.

Dont worry kid, the mind can play games on you, it happens to the best of us.

Considering moving there myself. Malta ticks most of my boxs. I was considering Thailand but its hard to get a visa.

Where are you from?

Getting a visa was really easy for me. But might depend on embassy/passport.
UK I know its easy to get a Visa if you're over 50 or some shit. I was looking for a permanent Visa not getting extensions of stay every 90 days.

Retirement visa is easiest to get. Age 55+ and 800,000 baht in a Thai bank.

Young single guy with no job offer from a Thai company usually stuck with a tourist visa and visa runs.
