Hopefully they're just building you the bestest iMac 27in ever. I heard the last batch of iMacs were having problems with flash, but that's most likely a software issue. I don't own a Mac, but I've never heard it happening to anyone else. Good luck, and enjoy your computer when you get it.

For 3k i could build 3 very good PCs with 20"+ monitors lol.

I mean my current PC cost less then 1k (Just the PC) And its all price break near top of the line stuff.

I ordered a 27" new iMac on October 26th and got the expedited shipping. A week later I called and asked why my order hadn't been shipped yet, they told me "It is supposed to be put together and shipped out in the beginning of November."

November 11th now and I call again, they tell me "They haven't started to build the computer yet but it should ship out sometime in November."

I'm paying over $3k for a computer as well as expedited shipping, and it's been 2 weeks and they haven't even built the computer yet.

Anybody else that order an iMac have to wait this long? I just want my damn LED.

don't you have a mac pro with a 30 inch display. why are you getting an 27 inch imac. Makes no sense.

The Mac Pro is old, the memory is extremely low on it, it ran slow, and I wanted more than 1 monitor. So the upgrade just made sense, I got a much better computer now and have dual monitors.

It's not the base model either, hardware wise everything is upgraded as much as possible with the exception of the 16GB of RAM, had it upgraded to 8GB only.

There are a ton of 3rd part software applications for just this sort of thing. I use Anapod Explorer for example.

I had Anapod back when I had a 3rd generation iPod 15GB.

The problem is, Anapod does not support newer iPods, anything newer than the 3rd generation nano, or iPod Classic won't work, meaning anything put out by apple in the last 3-4 years besides the iPod Classic, won't work.

There's no disk mode on the iPod Touch, iPhone, and 4th Generation nano and above. Just like how the older charger won't work in an iPod touch or iPhone, even though all the connections are there, it won't charge til the charging device tells it to charge, and that requires a new charger.
