For everyone who is interested, I'll be creating an entry thread soon with all the directions for signing up. This contest will be held off-site on a forum I'm setting up specifically for fitness and nutrition discussion for our group. Expect it no later than the weekend.
 
I'm definitely in (the competition). Sign my ass up. I don't really see the need for sponsors though. Why not just have a banner or something saying "forum champion spartan" lol.

Sponsors just make it more motivating. Plus, a well-publicized event in the community is just a win-win all around. Add to it the potential for some really motivating transformation stories, and that's a good formula imo.

Hearing that this kind of contest had gone in the past, I assumed it wouldn't be an issue if we held another. I wanted to host it off-site, and after reading the rules, decided to ask Jon's permission regarding the advertising of this contest.

He took his time to respond and has made it quite clear that the banhammer will do a jig should this contest be advertised.

I'm taking my hat out of the ring as moderator.
