Problems fixed.

Banned the fucker... and changed the Sales post he so blatantly made to something a bit more fitting.

Oh boy, can't wait until that shit gets indexed!

Anyone who links to his site promoting this shit can enjoy a spot on the banned list as well..

I came to this thread for the SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES and all I got was this lousy T-shirt:

For what it's worth, i actually use T202. have been for about a month. It's pretty cool. But could use a few minor tweaks...

That guy who made it, wes, is actually a nice guy. I doubt he's stealing any of the info. The guy is mainly a programmer and he actually has a company and hired 4-5 developers. That's a lot of work to steal keywords...

But that's just my opinion and i am kinda new to AM so what the hell do i know about this anyway.

I am only using it for one campaign, so if my shit get''s stolen, I'll have learned my lesson..

But yeah, I'm not linking to it, so please don't ban me. Just letting you know i actually use it..

It's understandable to make it local as to thwart piracy of the software...

The way I see it, dude has a couple options.

1. Sell the code etc for use on ones own server and charge a huge one time cost. (this will only work until it gets torrented)

2. Do a subscription service and get a couple hundred affiliates who don't mind giving up priceless data to pay a monthly fee... while birthing new competition in the process.

Well then your wrong, stupid, and having your campaign information stolen. Especially since he has already admitted to using the data entered.

Why would he pay money to hire 4-5 developers if he wasn't planning on making it back somehow?

What I'd love to see is somebody like this post the script for us to download and install ourselves. That would really be giving back to the community without the possibility of people looking over your information.
Does anybody know of a script like that (available for download)?

?
My understanding is that he plans to advertise on the site and partner with certain networks...If he lets ppl download it than he can't do that,,,

but who cares. i don't need to defend him. u can use it or not use it. All i know is i have been working with the guy for the past month or so and he has been very helpful and answered a lot of my noob questions w/o flaming me every time.

And it seems like an awful lot of work to go through to steal keywords and such...

It also seems like other ppl who know Wes all say he is a very nice, trusting, and helpful guy...

but i guess with such sensitive info being available to someone i can see why ppl are cautious. But so far using his software over the past few weeks ALL of my ROI's have gone up for my adgroups. So if he is stealing my stuff it sure isn't hurting my campaigns...

That's hardly a lot of work or money invested to have that much keyword and conversion data at your fingertips...

It really is legit.. he's not stealing your stuff. It's your loss if you don't believe it. Wes is a great guy.

Maybe your right. I don't know the guy but just knowing he has been an affiliate marketer before ever starting this venture doesn't sit well with me at all. Plus his plan to monetize it doesn't seem like it will make it all worth it and what do you think the next course of action would be to get his $$ back.

I don't know but I wouldn't trust all my data to any small shop like this, as good as his product is he would have to make it a desktop application or sell the web app so people could load it on their own servers for any large affiliate marketers to use it.

any alternatives to this? i'd pay for a desktop version. hell..i don't even tell people i do aff marketing...no need to invite more future competition.
