1 word : excellent

it just gives me all the info i would want on my competition, own websites

not sure I dig the new layout with the radio buttons from the frontpage. While the old sidebar felt kind of cramped, it seemed more usable. I know you display it once pushed through to the results, but my sense at first glance was that I would have to keep navigating back to use each function. A little off-putting I guess

Please advise re changes. We're still tweaking the design.

will start off by saying this is one of my fav tools - of course i've only been in it for a few months.
Functionality - 9/10.
Speed/Responsivenes -8 to 9
Usability 5 probably less.

My thoughts
1. entering website name in top right is not good. domjax does a really good job of having it as the focus as that's what you want the user's first action to be ( atleast in my opinion).
2. the font is too small or perhaps it doesn't scale right for my high resolution page.
3. too many bookmarks. having 3 or 4 bigger more obviously placed bookmarks would be worth a lot more. also stumble it. i added a thumbs up.
4. a better colour scheme
5. the menu isn't intuitive - do i click on the arrow or on the name link?
6. it might also be good to have the option to check multiple features and run them together
7. you'll notice that there is a lot of white space that isn't used - is this on purpose?
8. a logo would be good - you can get one for real cheap and even a reasonably cheap design of the page done by a freelancer.
9. again the domjax screen or i wish i still had access to the old flickr sign up screen - clean simple design.
10 one thing that might work really well is to have a graphical menu (something like flick does) except with the different options and have them clickable - so a design like
[ Main enter keyword] - in the center and middle of page (followed by a 3*3 row of icons below for
[website traffic] [ website SE ranking] [ website competitors]
[ site keyword analysis ] [ site page strength] [ site keyword suggestions]
and so forth...
you know how flickr has the single row of 4 icons - have a grid of 9 icons like that (this grid would be below an area (like domjax has with logo and field) where you can enter site name) . also if you can use floating menus that'd be really cool.

btw i have a ton of suggestions for UI - perhaps i'll add some in later - however that's completely separate from the functionality and speed - best seo tool i've found so far. instead of going to alexa, wordtracker, etc. i can get all this information on one page. love it

btw i've added a pic as my avatar which kinda shows what i'm talking about with the layout. i can't get an image up here and my ftp server is busy with something else.

Some input

Very nice tools, but I agree with previous comment putting the textboxt at top right is a bit of a problem. I think put it right in the center of page and bigger text box size will be much better, think Google homepage or domaintools. just my $0.02

First impression:
It's strange to have to enter the URL in the upper right of the page. I expected to be able to do that in the middle of the page below the logo. Spent about 15 seconds looking for the search box. That's 15 seconds too long for some people.

Overall very cool. Tons of information. Would gladly recommend it to others.

I agree with everyone about Search box placement. I don't think it's a bad thing to be there after I've done one search, but on the front page maybe something a bit more prevalent.

Hi there,
I'm the author of these tools and I'd firstly like to thank everyone for the feedback.

It's sometimes difficult to cater for everyone, but it seems that there is a general consesus for the centered domain/URL/IP box. I'll try and get something installed sometime tomorrow.

I have been meaning to setup a support/feedback forum. Perhaps it's time I did.

Also, I have some free advertising space available while I run some final testing on the advertising system. If you have a RELEVANT site that you'd like to include in this free testing, please contact me either here of from the site and I can add your site/ad to our advertising system.

Cheers
Brad

Thanks, Mike. I'll tell the programmer about the search box placement.
