I agree with McKenna up until he gives them his answer of what do you do about it, how to fight it.... ART? Jesus fucking christ.....What a fool. He's sugar coating it to the audience because he knows they would hate his real answer.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There is no stopping the game. There is no ending the game. Unless you die or opt-out and choose to leave modern society. Aside for those two options, you must play the game. So play it to your advantage and reach up to the highest tier of power and control... the ruling class. Anyone who wants to be part of it, can obtain it. They care not where you came from or how much your family had when you were born. Well, usually not.

There's nothing more practical in the game than simply bossing yourself to the top of the ladder to have you and your family be in the position of not getting fucked by the game. I think McKenna's thing about art being a tool of revolt is that it is an activity of transcending the game and validating the spirit that the game tries so hard to diminish and manipulate. That's cool as a concept but even then you can't fuck off self determination in the financial game at this stage in history because then you just become an irresponsible hobo leech with one foot in the game and one foot out riding other's coattails like some people were in the 70's. It's just a cop out out from the reality of having to dig out a piece of the pie for you and yours in the world. Nature just bvg tfy67&

Nature just built the world in that sort of harsh hierarchical way, at least this far in out evolution. To deny that reality is just delusional.

That being said, you can still unplug while playing the game. You can make your moves in freer countries and remove yourself from the aspects of the game that are automatically rigged out of your favor. At the very least, if you move your assets out of the western world you aren't getting tax farmed by private bankers. You don't need to become part of the "ruling" class to enjoy a meaningful, comfortable, and influential existence. That's one way to do it tho and I def respect your hustle
