Yea, I don't like that guy much. He's not very funny, and his face bugs me. David, on the other hand, is the man. He deserves all that extra-marital sex.
honestly I'm sick of this Leno/Conan shit, and it's just further proof that reddit members, although they claim to be "above" celebrity worship and marketing, throw the right celeb. cock in front of them and they'll slobber for days.
This made me laugh.
Enough drama already. The networks are a business and will do what they have to do to be profitable. If Jay/Conan are not working in the current time slot, why shouldn't they be moved to something that will work.

I like Jay Leno. Haven't seen much Conan. Both have my respect though. Having teams of people come up with funny shit on a daily basis is just brutal. Btw, wouldn't Jay Leno's team of writers be more responsible for him sucking than himself. They're the ones writing most of the material.
I like Conan, and would prefer that he stay.
But I don't understand all the hate towards Leno.
Conan's ratings have dropped significantly since he took over
the tonight show. That is why NBC wants Leno back. If Conan
had kept the same number of viewers, or even close to it, none
of this would be happening right now.
Yes, Leno is doing bad in the ratings compared to other 0pm shows
right now, and that's his competition. But he still kept the same number
of viewers he previously had at 10:35. Of course NBC didn't expect Leno to keep the same ratings, they expected them to increase...but I don't blame that on Leno.
Who watches a comedy show at 9pm? I think it was just a bad move overall, and I don't think anyone (certainly not Conan) would have succeeded in that time slot.
Another argument is that Conan's ratings are down at the Tonight Show, because of Leno's low ratings at 10pm. I don't buy that myself, as you've got the local news between the two shows. If I want to watch Conan, I'll watch him. How many viewers who regularly tune into Conan also watch their local news?? VERY FEW.

yes, but just about every post I've seen of yours recently, any time you have an 'opinion', it was mirrored off of reddit. I apologize, and I know it's going to piss you off, but it's what I've noticed. call me a hater, but I'm sick of the hivemind garbage that emanates from digg, reddit, 4chan, and Something Awful. At least here at WF there's a bit more difference of opinion here (despite how many times it can lead to people being condescending to each other and hurr durr). Know why? There's a common goal here, regardless of political leaning, moral leaning, religion: Make fucking money. Reddit, digg, SA, etc are the biggest circlejerks on the internet and it's old.
celebrity worship. If someone is funny, they're funny. Letterman WAS funny at one time, then he started getting on my nerves, so I stopped watching. They don't need to be worshipped
Some time I 've have to make sure I m not eating anything when watching his show. but it funny at time.
I found that link on fark.com... A site I've kind of been a member of for the past 9 years. I think maybe one or two threads I've ever started on here was for something I found on reddit... one or two out of 2,000+ posts.
And if you hate all of those sites so much, there really is a simple fix... don't type their addresses into your browser.

yeah and I've been a fark member since 2002, so close in time frame as well, but I really don't go there much anymore. I really moved around forums a lot, but so many are the same - it's one giant circlejerk, and if you dare upset the hivemind, you're screwed. Fark is a little better, but it's still there. Go to reddit or digg in a frontpage thread, and post something contrary to the popular opinion (no matter how rational it is), and see what happens. The redeeming feature about reddit is the ability to change around the subreddits you see.
I'm tired of these celebrity wars and whining, and now if you say "oh but I think Leno is funny", suddenly "YOU HAVE A SHIT SENSE OF HUMOR WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU". Opinions people, come on. I don't mind Conan's show - or I should say, I didn't. I used to like it. Andy Richter ruins his show though. Richter is one of the single most unfunny "comedians" around. His voice is obnoxious, his jokes are childish, and just plain not funny.
I'm going to laugh if this entire thing is just a ploy for ratings and publicity.
This is the problem I find with the Internet. You cant have a middle of the road opinion. Either you must go and suck up to the far right freaks or the far left freaks. NO in between.
Both are just as fuckin stupid but you have to pick one side to deal with. One side (the far right) are older but less informed and the left (mostly early 20 something) are in college or just out of college and doBon't really have any life experience outside of living in the dorm and their parents paying their bills.
I lean toward the older crowd who have at least worked, paied taxes and raised familes but they are at times just as closed minded as the just outa puberty left.
