So I played around with AdCenter a while back, set it to $20 daily max and forgot about it. I now have $230 in CC charges for 800 clicks and 0 conversions on the mofo.

Should I just dispute the charges? They can ban the acc for all I care.

$230... chump change

pay it, learn from your mistake and move on.

you'll need the account later. PITA to make a new one.

Consider it a lesson on the need to actively monitor campaigns. You aint gonna be making bank with set and forget.

Dispute the charges on what grounds?

unauthorized transaction

The account was signed up under a different name than the CC holder, so it should work from I'm reading on the internet (so much stuff about getting out of "free" acai trials lol)

I won't be dealing with AdCenter for the foreseeable future, the 230 bucks are a big chunk of my advertising budget that I can't afford to lose.

The campaign cost me 6 bucks in the first 3 days so I thought it was true what I heard about AdCenter - it not having much traffic - and started working on other traffic sources.

Personally, I'd be pissed if I ran up charges and converted zero. So I'd call the bank if I was you, void the card and request a new one (given the charge hasnt yet posted to your account). You can always call and R10 the payment (saying not authorized, pretend it was stolen). Your account will get banned... But this can easily be fixed by just requesting a new card. Just a thought.

who cares if it is or is not the fault of adcenter? Are you an agent for the microsoft network? IMO; if the guy can get his money back and it doesnt hurt anyone here on this community and works to get back his few hundred bucks from a multi-billion dollar network, fuck it - all the power to him... just my thoughts

It's retards like you who piss me off. You "forgot" about your campaign and spent the money on clicks but made no conversions. Now you want to file a chargeback? Fuck you.

Unless anyone here is an agent of Dresden is it OK if I get some boys to steal his car tonight?

I mean no one else in this community will suffer so I guess its cool.

You're a fucking douchebag if you think its okay to chargeback because your dumb ass forgot the campaign was running.

You must be new.
