Fucking AdCenter

1. Setup account at Adcenter
2. Create campaigns
3. Walk away and forget about them
4. Realize that Adcenter actually showed the ads that you asked them to show
5. File chargeback
6. ????
7. Profit

WTF OP? You created the account of your own free accord. You created the campaigns, again, of your own free accord. Adcenter fulfilled their end of the deal and displayed your ads per your request. Now, because you were too fucking retarded to check them occasionally, you want to chargeback $230 because it's a "big chunk of [your] advertising budget that [you] can't afford to lose"?!?!

Go back to slinging burgers. You won't make it in AM.

This should not be disputed. Forgetting to turn off the campaign and not getting a conversion is not their fault. Had you been profitable then you would not think to dispute and keep it running. That actually is fraud and you are misusing the system. Yes, it is a billion dollar company but it is that thinking that is improper.

So I went through the post histories of some of the moralfags in this thread and wouldn't you know, most of them were running flogs and rebill scams during the hot days. All I have to say to you is:

Shut the fuck up.

You were scamming consumers, promoting shit you knew was a fraudulent and you wanna make me feel bad about charging back 230 bucks off a company that makes $16,000,000,000 a year in PROFITS?

Yeah I'm in the wrong here, but pretty much everyone on WF does shady shit in some form or another, get off my balls.

You're more than likely correct in assuming most of the people who're criticising you are guilty of the same crap. However, what's already been mentioned is that the cost will get passed on to others. You shouldn't use a company's net worth to justify trying to bail out of your responsibilities all the time.

adcenter is a scam. Period. Signed up with 50.00 coupon. spent 50 more for no traffic. They showed all kinds of hits but server logs show nothing. Put on pause to stop spending. the keep charging me for clicks I never get. Call em up and they say I never paused it on my end and have to do it by calling them and have them do it on their end as well as me on my end. I as about why I have no stats on my server and get this long spiel about not knowing what the fuck I'm talkin about. Look on complaintsboard.com see lots of folks getting scammed by their xboxes by them. Same # I called, same run around. Here's 1 post from complaintsboard. Fraudulent Charges on Credit Card
I too have 9 charges from Microsoft Adcenter (800 518-5689) ranging from $51. 34 up to $531. 58 totalling over $2, 000 in a span of 4 days. There are also suspect charges in that time period for Microsoft Xbox Live. The Microsoft Adcenter rep tells me the charges came from WebUNet Company (406-270-4061).. It's a big ass scam of epic porportions as far as I can tell.

I actually had the same thing just happen to me. I have two adwords accounts and I set one of them which I was using to test something to a $10 a day budget and forgot about it. Then I saw a $218 charge the other day from Google which was weird since my main PPC account is manual funding. Then I remembered about that other test account. Difference is I didn't do a charge back.

LOL @ OP and LOL @ this:

Unless anyone here is an agent of Dresden is it OK if I get some boys to steal his car tonight?

I mean no one else in this community will suffer so I guess its cool.
