Fucking HATE paypal

Can't find any decent articles about it, but I'm too lazy to search. Anyway, once this goes international, it should pretty much kill PayPal off altogether:

Visa allows direct money transfer from one card to another | Ecommerce Journal

Visa is implementing a new money transfer service to allow customers send funds in real-time to other cards using the VisaNet network. For the first time the service was activated by Russia's largest payment kiosk operator, 1st Processing Bank (QIWI Group), and Ukraine's largest bank, PrivatBank earlier this week. Now Visa plans international roll-out.
Using the service customers just specify their Visa card number to initiate the payment. It eliminates any need to fill out different forms and give away routing information such as bank codes and branch addresses.
When processed through VisaNet, funds are credited directly to the eligible Visa credit, debit or prepaid account in minutes, freeing recipients from having to visit agent locations to collect cash.
There's some other good news articles about it from guys like BBC, etc... but I can't be bothered to search for them. I always wondered why VISA and Mastercard didn't capitalize on this sooner. They could wipe out every 3rd party payment processor out there with one swoop. I guess they were just waiting for the online P2P payments industry to get large enough to warrant destroying all profits from providing merchant accounts?

google checkout is the best and paypal accounts which were created before they updated their TOS (i suppose 99 or 00) are the strongest and stay away from such bloackage. My friend runs a link building website and so he gets few chargebacks every month. But the thing is all his incoming is rather the same amount (or atleast multiple of the same amount - $45) - never blocked for suspicion.

When paypal sees a sudden rise in income they beome suspicious. If for months u are not getting any money and out of nowhere you get $3000, then those whores hit you hard and fast.

Anyways OP sorry for time wasted bruh, take a look at checkout, avangate etc. They got wire transfers, checks etc. etc. And in avangate atleast, unless someone reports your merchant account, you are free to do big transactions - i mean like $58K+.

*shrug* I keep $XX,XXX in there and have never any issues with them. I've sent mid five figure transactions before, received six figures from the same person over a period of time. I get a few chargebacks a month. I login from multiple states, and my account wasn't even started in the same country I reside. Never once had a restriction placed on my account.

They froze $2000 for 15 days. After that I got it back. I had no choice but wait.

Paypal can suck my dick.

But they are something which we hate, but we need. 99% of people use Paypal as a method of money sending so we need to use it, even though they suck that bad.

I got limited and got held of $4000. After around 6 months, I wasn't even allowed to withdraw to my bank for some bullshit reason.

Now I use 2checkout. They accept Paypal payments and many more and they are 100x better.

1) Better customer support
2) Better on the whole
3) Paypal < 2Checkout

Dresden, don't you run a debt settlement biz? Are you having them pay you through paypal, because if you need a high risk merchant I can hook you up with who some associates in the biz use.

Normally in non-computer life if I hate something, I'll just fucking punch the person. Paypal has some fucking nerve to hold my money for 180 days as they grow interest in their bank accounts... I dont know who the fuck they think they are. Has anyone ever tried pursuing legal action against them regarding this?

They also claim that they are not earning interest on your funds while its sitting. Which would not make any sense for them to do but they claim trust me we are not earning interest.
They are also the biggest unregulated bank in the world that claims they are not a bank.

I use paypal all the time but I use it for my design business.. What are you guys using your paypal accounts for? Im just curious... seems there are horror stories and then guys with no issues at all.

Can anyone who uses 2Checkout for a service / invoicing-based business comment on using it? I was thinking of switching for my content stuff but I pretty much forgot about it.

2 questions... those of you who complaint about your account getting limited by paypal, were you

a. using a business account? or premium personal?
b. selling make money online stuff?

Fuck PP.

They're fucking douchebags. Every time I receive money in PP, I have "peeing sensation" because of the fear that I might get assraped. Fuck them. I just can't wait for the day when another serious player comes in.

Let the motherfucker burn.

They keep 5% as a reserve for 3 months and then release it back to you. IMO, it doesn't affect you at all as far as the reserve is concerned.

They also charge you a 5.5% + $0.5 fee per transaction. It is higher than paypal's I think (not sure, I never used paypal). But since paypal has bad reputation I sticked with 2co.

In 3 years I've been using it, I've never had any problems with them, no matter the volume. They assign you a personal assistant after some time if you have enough sales and sale volume. They respond pretty fast if you have any questions during normal working hours.

They send out money every 7 days to your specified bank account. I personally have it connected with payoneer account, which allows me to withdraw my money with payoneer mastercard from atm's anywhere.

It's great so far, can't complain.

Paypal is bullshit. Good luck on getting your money after the 180 days because they can still not pay you.

Google checkout is the best way to go. Use their email invoice tool and you can send an email asking for payment. Never had a problem with them for over 2 years.

I know this is totally non of my fucking business, but to those of you who've had accounts put on hold/limited/reviewed/whatever, how much were you doing a month through there? Under $10k? Over $10k? Over $30k in a month? More?
