Friend of mine calls me about a month ago and tells me about a guy that's doing well in the adult diaper niche. I look into it, its competitive as hell but I think I can get a nice money maker over a year, maybe two. This would be an SEO'd site. So I start digging into the niche and I keep running into these weird fucking blogs and sites about people wanting to be adult babies and some other freaky shit.
Today I'm list building for blogs/forums/web 2.0 and I finally say fuck it. I'm done! These freaky fucks and their poopy diaper fetish shit I can't take it.

I don't doubt the baby shit weirdos exist, but the dude you linked to is an incontinent guy that just wants to find someone. The majority of the geriatric Depends crowd just qualifies as old and randy really, not Cosplay twisted.
 
What is most disturbing is the traffic these kind of sites are getting.

I'm going to go drink beers smoke some bud and watch the neck slimmer commercial and laugh my ass off and call it a day.
 
How many people are into this worldwide? Maybe 5000? Is that enough to quantify this niche as a money maker?

I don't think he was getting into the fetish part as his "niche". I'm pretty sure he was wanting to promote Adult Diaper products and accidentally found this little sub culture which fucked up his plans.

I had a BANS site a couple years ago that was all adult diapers and incontinence aids. I never really got it going and lost interest fast.

Adult diapers are a good idea, no one would embarrass themselves by going to the store when they can buy it online. Easy demographic to figure out and keywords would probably be a cinch.
