I don't get the hate for Tyler either. I think others are just jealous of his success selling that domain.

And... I'm Canadian, and I sure as hell don't say aboat or aboot. Nor do I own a pet polar bear, or go skiing in July, and no part of my house is constructed of ice. Frickin' 'mericans.
 


Nah, people have hated me before I bought my condo or got my recent cheque.

As for the Canadian talk.. yeah.. I don't get it either. From my experience, I've noticed more Americans say "Eh?" than Canadians, but some do here for sure (they're usually at Tim Hortons :P)... just look at Fargo ;)

What I hate is how Americans say "Ruff" instead of "ROOF" and it's spelled COLOUR guys :P
 
I have mad respect for Tyler Cruz, reading his blog last year, especially when I first started really inspired me to work hard in internet marketing. Not a douche at all.

Yesterday, she asked me if she could post on my Blog and I said of course but she didn’t know what to post about. We were thinking of ideas for her post topic, knowing that she dislikes Tyler Cruz, I thought it would be a funny first post for her. Everyone should know that blogs are for posting a person’s opinion. My wife is a very opinionated person and that is one of the reasons why I love her some much. She says how she feels and I don’t see any problem with it.

[FONT=&quot]“Before I start to ramble, I do have to stress that this is in no way Bob’s (my husband) opinion, although he may agree with some of what I am about to say.”[/FONT]

What is a douchebag?
Personally, I don’t think a douchebag is a horrible word compared to BITCH or ASSHOLE. To me, Douchebag describes someone who thinks his or her shit doesn’t stink! The word is more of a joke to me. I didn’t think she needed to post, “The person who thinks his shit doesn’t stink that is Tyler Cruz”. It’s just not as funny. :)

The questions for the interview…
What the fuck? Tyler, you know those weren’t the questions I asked you! I never asked you about your age, adsense, or other dumb questions. The questions were to help newcomers. Here are some of the questions:

Those questions were written by a partner of mine at the time and I thought those questions could help a newcomer to the world of Internet publishing. After he agreed to the interview, he then told me “NO” after seeing the questions and told me to get better questions because I wouldn’t ask Bill Gates these questions, now would I? I liked the questions and didn’t think I needed to change them just for him because he thinks he’s special.[/FONT] I had also sent the questions to a few other Internet publishers, they had NO problem with answering them, this is why she said that she thought he was stuck up and arrogant.

Admiring or jealous of him?
That is far from the truth! We are not jealous of him. Just because she posted her opinion of him doesn’t mean we admire him. A douchebag doesn’t mean admiring or jealously.

Link Baiting
No it wasn’t for link baiting it was just a post on her opinion of Tyler Cruz. I never thought it would get some much attention. After my wife seen a comment about Link baiting. She asked what is link baiting… She didn’t know and didn’t mean to post this opinion of him for it either nor did I.

For all those people who called her a bitch…
Why would you call my wife a dumb bitch or me after complaining that she calls someone else a douchebag? It doesn’t make sense to me for someone to complain about calling someone a name and then come back calling that person a name. Also WickedDUDE, I’m a dumb idiot because I allow my wife to post her opinion of another person?

She’s Canadian too, it’s a joke!

Well, to be honest, it was visible from a mile away that this post was going to cause something like this, and it's turning into a good lesson - like Eli said, if you want to bash someone, do it right.

Without getting into whether the post is funny or not (as some people, for some reason, apparently think it is), three out of four issues are not issues at all and if writing this (together with posting it here :confused: ), wasn't meant to be a linkbait, than it's even worse - of all the subjects under the sun, she chose this for her first post ?! I'd rather not even think about the motives & brainstorming behind that.

So yeah, the attack sucks, and of course it's going to get "pwned" on WF:smilie_weihn_winki:
 
well not really supposed to do personal attacks in the new and improved wickedfire i thought? anyways i didn't know who tyler was until she posted so maybe it's linkbaiting the other direction ;)

just so you know chuck, i wasn't posting that toward you, i was thinking of the initial calling out. it doesn't really bother me and i couldn't care less. like i said, i don't even know who tyler is except i checked out his blog cause of the rant :)
