I haven't seen Firefly, everyone keeps telling me to. But BSG is awesome, watch it now!

Cool thanks, I will 2m. And Firefly is sort of campy, lower budget obviously than these other huge production shows, but the characters are still fleshed out well and you really can sympathize with their hardships.
I'm surprised nobody else has ranked it up there among the common top 5, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones... Firefly is definitely up there in the top 5 if not 10. It's probably just so obscure that many don't even know about it.

Accurate review of Firefly, for sure. But even as much as I liked the characters, I just couldn't get over how damn cheesy it was.

BSG is amazing.

Has anyone seen The Firm? The show is mediocre tbh, but there have been at least 3 BSG cameos, so I'll continue to watch.

The fact that he died because of a relatively small injury to what we see in the rest of the series, kinda makes it weak

As I understand it it was the healer that purposefully infected the wound further to extract vengeance for the sacking of her village.

Just downloaded and watched Season 1. On Season 2 now.

The script is terrible, but the visuals and overall characters/plot is interesting enough to keep watching. Plus it's like softcore mixed with Tarantino-esque gore, and there's some truly detestable characters you're just waiting to get beheaded.
