Gatorade drops Tiger Woods

I don't care how much golfing talent he has, it's shitty for any guy to cheat on his wife (especially with that many women ;))

All of you saying there's nothing wrong with him, giving him props for having sex with that many women, remember, he's married. It says a lot about his integrity.

If you want to fuck bitches other than your wife, you tell her first and see what happens. Yeah, 99% it'll end in divorce, but at least you're not a lying piece of shit, and you also avoid what's happening to him now.

Tiger is the world's greatest golfer with a gorgeous blond wife, two kids, celebrity endorsements and 10 mistresses.

How does Tiger manage all this? He drinks Gatorade! The energy drink for multitasking champs!

None of us are condoning his behavior but my opinion is that the media/public are taking it a bit too far. It's as if the public enjoys when someone who is held in high regard falls from grace.

He's a celebrity that got busted, of course it's going to be all in the news just as if it was any other celebrity. But seriously, who gives a fuck about whether sponsors drop him or not? I sure don't give a fuck about Tiger Woods or golf in general. Fuck a Tiger Woods.

Consciously (for years) having affairs with at least 10+ women is not a mistake. He knew what he was doing heh.

1 affair is a mistake, 12 is a habit. That being said, the only reason it's blowing up is cause he was married. If he was single he's be a huge playboy and revered for his prowess with the women... oh wait, actually fuck that, what a player! Go Tiger!

Anyone who is even surprised he was fucking a ton of women is clueless. Professional athletes have very good pussy thrown at them everywhere they go. Denying it all would be like having people throw cash at you all day and not picking any of it up. His wife should have known he was cheating.

The only thing I am surprised about is that he's fucking with low class reality show contestants and acting like a little bitch, begging them to change their voicemail. I'm sure T Wood has enough pull to get someone at the phone company to cut her number off mysteriously and wipe her VM box of all evidence that he was wiping her V box. Better yet, send some goons over to take her phone from her. And really, forget all that- stop being a pussy to your wife and tell her straight up. She knew what she was getting into. Come on.

Plus now she has perfect grounds to divorce him and take a chunk of his money. I'm sure that's what it's always been about anyway. He's an ugly mother fucker.
 
I think the reason the media is taking it quite far beyond a typical NFL or NBA affair scandal is that their advertising demographics are in a different field compared to Tiger's.

A good proportion of Tiger's endorsements are geared towards higher end clients who have money and are business men that probably cheat on their wives too but are good at keeping it low key - Tiger in this case failed at that... Especially with 12 diff girls... Like business he's suppose to portray a professional clean cut image, and him being married just adds more to his plate in terms of expectations.

A similar example would be Jordan and his gambling issues. It was a big issues because like very fee NBA players Jordan's advertising demographics included young children idolizing him, which then resulted in higher expectations related to his public image... in contrast I'm sure if players like Lebron was caught gambling it would go relatively a lot smoother cuz his fans are more into his flare and skills rather than singing shit like "like Lebron..."

Just a perspective I caught while reading the papers on this the other day. Aside from that I don't have much insight into the actual topic lol
 
I haven't read much of this thread but this is a business move. Think about it. The only way i can parallel this in our terms is: would you sponsor XY7.com even if they had the biggest payouts in the industry after that god awful thread? Probably not
 
Kinda reminds me of the way CBS drops people from Lost. Think about: everyone who has been in the media in a negative light, drugs, dui, hookers...etc have died on the show. With the excpetion of Jin, but he "died" or everyone thought he was dead and he came back. (you can almost hear the big wigs sayin "that's your only chance, fuck up again and you're off the show" Redemption baby!

Oh and with regards to Tiger I heard that he's renegotiating the prenup for anywhere from another 10-30 million if she'll stay for another year...

If every major athlete that kids idolize acted like a scumbag or gangster, do you think that would impact how kids act? I think so. When you're as big of a role model as Tiger Woods is, you want to try to act on your best behavior. With great power comes great responsibility, it's Zac Johnson for fucks sakes.
