Seems a bit fast for a new windows OS, is it really worth the upgrade?

Where are you guys getting the keys?

Damn it you beat me to it.

Already upgraded to 7 but damn...I hit 2.5MB/sec on that link......I see they beefed up the download window speed in this version.

thanks for the post man, what's the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit?

Processor capability mainly. Most of the newer desktop processors are 64bit capable now (amd64, core2 duo, so forth).

With a 64bit OS you can...
Access more than 4gb of storage at once*
Load more than 4gb into the rams and access all of that at once.
Can actually use more than 4GB of rams.
Can send 64bit commands to the processor (more work at once, though in real world testing, it equates to about 13% to 30% performance over 32bit, I guess that'll change when an OS drops 32bit proccesses all together, kinda like 2000 dropped 16bit).

*Assumes you're using NTFS or another file system that supports files larger than 4gb.

I get this error when I try to install Windows 7, using the 32 bit version.

F:\Sources\SPQIZENG.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Followed promptly by-

The file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0xC1]

How exactly did you burn the disk for installation?

I didn't use Virtualbox or Vmware, I just mounted it to an image and then proceeded to open the file. I got the error and aborted the installation.

Err... don't try to install windows from a virtual device, onto the same system the virtual driver is loaded on. You have to burn to a disk, reboot and choose either to upgrade (from Vista sp1 only),or clean install. Otherwise use virtualization like vmware or virtualbox.

Check the md5 checksum to make sure it's good. If if is just unzip the .iso to a new partition using 7zip and run the setup.exe... so much easier.

The keys are now live, I just got a few, hurry up before they are gone.

Do these file sizes look right for the direct download links?
