I've seen lots of people offering backlinks via scrapebox, xrummer etc on fiverr.com

As a noob, what is wrong with these services? For $5 you can up tp 12,000 links (that's the most I've seen advertised).

This seems a fair bit cheaper than some of the services offered elsewhere on the web.

I'm guessing if you want quality you pay the extra but what makes the more expensive services better?

Thanks.

(As you said) quality, trustworthiness, timeliness, consistency, reliability.

With quality, it's the little things that matter.

The other three points are important when, for example, you're working on a new site andyou believe link velocity is important. You were blasting 10,000 links a day when the Fiverr gig disappears and while you're looking for a new provider your link velo drops to zero and you get sandboxed or all those links get devalued.

Allllllllllllllllll hypothetical of course (including the effects of link velocity) but just an example.

Nothing wrong with buying with Fiverr, good providers do deliver as promised and $5 = low risk for you....but Fiverr sellers are seldom open to customization when it comes to your orders, whereas your own VA or another seller elsewhere can adapt orders to your needs.

Do you know from experience that Fiverr sellers are seldom open to customization? It's all in how you approach 'em, I'd think. If you're entertaining using a particular seller long-term, bypass Fiverr altogether by telling them you'll pay them their same rate but give them a steady stream of work and exchange emails and get their Paypal email address as Fiverr uses Paypal. Taking out the middle-man is always viable. Everyone can be persuaded. If you pitch it to them right, you can easily get them to pander to your needs for their normal rate.

I have an article I wrote on the viability of Fiverr arbitrage that I tried posting in the Education forum, but it got flagged for approval by a moderator and is stuck in fucking purgatory or something. If anyone would like to read it, PM me or hit me up on Skype/AIM. I'd be happy to give it to you.

There are several incredible providers on Fiverr when it comes to Scrapebox and xrumer. I've used several of them, if you need a short list of good providers (I'll give you 2-3) on Fiverr feel free to PM me. :)
