First off, not sure if this is the right spot for this, but i figure it would help a lot more people if it's here since more people will see it.

Second, i haven't actually tried this yet, so not sure if it works, but it's just an idea.

Ok, so i'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Google's "Subscribed Links." I just learned about them last week. But basically, if your a brand or a site, you can allow people to sign up for your subscribed links, and when they search for a keywords (predetermined by you, almost like tags on youtube) they will see your subscribed link as the third search engine result. Always.

So here is where i was thinking this could come in handy. Let's say you have a high traffic blog (say Uberaffiliate.com, for example) You can have your users sign up for you're subscribed links. But instead of using keywords from your site (or in addition to) you can use keywords from your affiliate campaigns.

So if one of your readers happens to search one of those keywords you will have a guaranteed 3rd place result on the main section of google results. For free.

Obviously you are relying on the chance that they search for keywords related to your campaigns, which is no guarantee, but if your campaigns are related to your blog/ website, then there is a good chance they are interested in that subject.

Again, i have not tested this out and there could be a flaw here. But Subscribed links is a free API on google so it may be worth doing more research on.

Get lots more info here: Subscribed Links Developer Guide start with the basics to get a better idea of what subscribed links are.

Hope this helps someone make a little more money...

That's pretty cool, I haven't ever researched that.

I'm resurrecting one of my high traffic blogs so I'll do some testing with it and I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the link.
