Whats up everyone, i've been spending a lot of my time focusing on my career lately, and have sort of lost my edge with AM..

I can feel myself getting more comfortable every day, and with it, my dreams seem to feel like they are just farther and farther away from where they once were.

I'm sure this has happened to some of you before. What is the best way to get back on track, sharpen my focus, and get into that hustlers spirit i was so accustomed to?

Yes, is your career and AM separate, are you trying to transition from one to the other?

career is consulting, completely unrelated to AM ...

i think part of the problem is that the time i spend working on my career = the same salary no matter what.

When i work on AM, sky is the limit as far as money..

lately i've been comparing my salary to waht i can purchase in the future etc etc.. and it makes me depressed. Not saying i have a shitty paying job b/c i don't, but it's definately not gunna keep me satisfied for hte long run..

when i was more heavily invovled w/ AM i was always optomistic and had no salary cap in my head. I think part of the problem is that i'm working just too damn much on my career, and not enough on my AM .. on top of all that you ahve to enjoy life .. so shits tough. guess i just have to make it more of a priority to focus on AM and quit being lazy w/ it

Salary cap as a consultant? I think you need to get out from under the man.

technically i have a bonus, which should be pretty nice this quarter, but what you are referring too is independenc consulting. I don't have enough experience for that yet, it's my first year.

I have every intention of keeping my career in addition to AM. But I am my own boss and have an established business. The key to being to do that and AM is automating almost every activity. Of course many people fell on their faces by automating before they really had a successful system in place.

true this, and this it what i am working on as we speak

my true dream is being my own boss though. the more i work here, the more that seems like a fantasy instead of a reality though, which is tweaking me out a bit

if your salary isn't cutting it, learn to invest. that's why we have this thing called a stock market.

just do this

I have kind of made it a point to stay at my job because I hate it so much that going to work is my motivation to come home after working 10 hour days in shit hole bank to work on my dream maybe you just aren't that into AM and just want the cash associated with it...

I do it for all the titty threads not the money

in other words if he is getting comfy at his day job maybe he just doesn't care enough to work on AM you either put the time in so you can leave the 9-5 or you do the 9-5

my motivation is to never have to step into the branch i work at
