Getting Wikipedia links

Anyone have any information on the best way to get links in Wikipedia pages, I try adding content and then using my site as a reference but everytime it gets changed back within a day.

Find a section that doesn't have rabid fans and as such doesn't get checked very often. Of course you're not going to get much traffic then but you will get the link juice.

Links from Wikipedia are always about the link juice, you don't do it for the traffic.

I thought wikipedia added nofollow to their links to prevent linking just for the juice?

i got a wikipedia link just by adding it. Be smart about how you word it. Also, i think they are nofollow links these days.

I have 2 sites that I was able to add my links into the References section for (2 different articles) without any issue. I didnt even add any content, I just made sure that I didnt put any kind of marketing related words in the anchor tag, and my site didnt wreak of trying to make money.

I saw a way bigger benefit to my overall traffic directly from Wikipedia then I did with any link juice or SERP positions as a result of it.

When I try to edit the reference pae it just says {Reflist}
