I've done a quarter of a million dollars+ in revenue since January 1, 2008 on one of the bigger affiliate networks. I'm pretty sure I've made them between $30,000-50,000 sheer profit on their side.

Do affiliate networks not send you anything anymore unless they have a rewards program? On some networks I could have scored a 50" plasma with my revenue. Even a t-shirt or mug would have been nice as a thank you. Is the only way to get gifts nowadays is to have an affiliate marketing blog?

Just curious.

I got an xbox 360 in November of last year from NeverblueAds and have done much less then quarter of a million in revenue!

For what it's worth, I don't get much either from the networks I do big with. But whatever I guess.
Oh yeah, WordZe randomly sent me a hat for sending them some sales during their big free trial promotion. But that's about it.
I guess I figure I can buy most of the stuff myself. Although it would be a nice touch.

Awww, you aren't feeling the love?

On a serious note, I've done a lot of business with CJ over the years, I have a performer and I still don't get shit. Other networks like CPA Empire have sent me loads of stuff, and I've done less with them. A few other networks have sent me things and taken me out to dinner at conferences. It really is a crapshoot.

Agreed. Probably just depends on the network.
Definitely not a reason to switch campaigns over or anything though, so (once again) whatever.

Yeah I know it's a big whatever, I don't really care. Would just be nice. Like Arby's 5 for $5.95 deal. It's just nice when they actually have it cause it's gone 90% of the year.

SO what networks DO have incentives then? I'm always looking for a little free swank when pimping the product.

And I'm pretty sure CJ doesn't really give out stuff. I've done plenty of business for them over the past year and I've gotten Jack.

Incentaclick/CX Digital Media has a loyalty program. $15,000 in revenue gets you $100 gift cards, $300,000 gets you whatever bigass plasma screen you want.

Hydra has some nice ones. From what I hear 1 or 2 people have gotten the real high ones.

I would love to implement something on my network, I always like to do promotions and things.

What would be better though like monthly raffles or just set amounts for things.

If you want to get something from a network go to adtech and load up on useless goodies and drop a business card in all the raffles.

I got a 4gb nano from one place.

I've gotten gifts (holiday season) from some CJ merchants who I've pushed a lot of volume for. CJ also gives gifts to CJPs each year, but I've heard they're not that great/

I'm really glad a thread like this came up actually, cause we're thinking of offering incentives once we change our payment gateway.

I mean, a hat and a mug is just advertising for the affiliate program and you're meant to be grateful? At least something like a good quality tracksuit hoodie is sensible clothing, so I can sort of see the point in that...

Bu yeah, other than the big arse TV, what sort of incentives do people actually want?
The best I've ever gotten was a $50 gift card for stores that don't even exist in Australia.

i got a bunch of frozen steaks last christmas from one merchant. It was the best present i got all christmas.

I got a tin of chocolates from Copeac around Christmas

Im allergic to Chocolate you fucks
Hahaha Just playing! It was the only little something I have ever received from a network

The place I worked sent all the managers an Omaha Steak gift pack for Christmas. One of the best company gifts I have ever received!
