Yep. I know, I've been to countless shows. And generally people's favorite comics come down to who the individual relates to the best. Women relate to women better generally and guys definitely relate to guys better. So for the most part guys don't like women comics. A lot of guys (as we see) would rather women shut up and look pretty than make them laugh.

So, while I am fascinated by the comments on WF, it's pretty much what I expected.

No, women also in general far prefer male comedians. Men are just more fun. Just let it go. Maybe your girlfriend is funny, give it a shot.

But really there are so few legit funny women and most funny ones are lesbian. Allthough I worked with a girl who was actually funny once, she had that quick wit and ability to verbalize absurd situations based on something about people/situations. It was a quite male smart kind of humor but without forced male bravado imitation which is what most female comedians do and that is horrible.

But 95% are simply not funny.
