Give me some fucking blog post topics

Could you do screencasts for the coding stuff? I find its 100x easier to learn/interpret that way (and you can probably bust out a screencast faster than you could write one). Win-win :)

LOCAL! LOCAL! LOCAL!

Oh and I did do a random blog post request (I think it was in the Volk Fail thread) for someone to write about the psychology behind ddosing, maybe a case study... I 'd probably be the only one interested in that that though.

I need to start getting into the ins and outs of screencasting, so I might just take you up on that offer. A lot of guys like to read things though when it comes to coding stuff at least, but it's definitely worth a try. Some things are a hell of a lot easier to explain through video than through some screenshots and words.

Gears spinnin...

I've got some local stuff coming!

I'm a newbie to iMacros and how the work, and I bet there are a lot of people who are in the same boat as me. I bet if you wrote a couple of how-tos on the correct use of imacros you'd get some consistent followers. :)

Meh, there's a lot of imacros tutorials out there. I want to write about automating things with Ruby that as far as I know isn't out there yet, yet is still fun and pretty digestible for most people with a little bit of coding experience.

Plus, I don't use iMacros, so I'd be a newb writing for newbs.

i'm just guessing but knowing dchuck, i think he'd rather choke on a rusty trombone than writeup imacros tutorials. i know he's looking for shit to write about, but das is noob.

edit-- he beat me to it

Ah the shitiness of being a newb at times. :costumed-smiley-015

Let me know when you put up your blog, I'd be interested in reading it and educating myself on a few new techniques. :)

Could you do a post on "How to identify a Shitty SEO Service Provider"?

"How many Millions should I pay to SEO service provider"

There are so many SEO company claiming that they can do Top ranking on Google, when you do search on those keyword in Google Keyword tool, immediately you found out that no searches are being done on those keywords & these companies dare to make those into their profile.... trying to cheat ignorant consumers.

The topic I suggested above can help a lot of Ignorant companies / individuals from falling into prey.

Hey, I just wrote up a starter guide for writing your first bot in Ruby using Watir. Rather than start another thread to continue the whoring, I'll just keep the link in here for anyone who cares or requested this.

Let me know what you guys think and if you want to see more guides like this.

How To Write Your First Ruby Web Bot In Watir

This looks good. I'm gonna have to work through it when I have some time and I'll give you feedback.

I've yet to find a good blog post on the sales side of SEO. Who makes the best account execs for small to mid-size SEO operations.
