GO CHECK YOUR RANKINGS NIGGA

For a "marketing" forum with so many "seo experts", it sure seems like WF doesn't understand shit sometimes. Do you guys even know what about the thousands of search engine raters who have been seeing a ton of affiliate related queries lately? It's been going on for months now. Meh.

That explains why 'viagra' and 'make money online' now have such quality SERP results.

If you only knew. I'll let all of you experts get back to talking now.

Couple things:

1) I'm not an expert. But for some reason i CAN figure out why SEOMoz.org is ranking for 'dog snuggies' but Rand Fishkin can't.

2) I'm not denying the hiring of quality raters.

I just don't think that this algorithmic update has anything to do with quality raters.

If it did you'd assume that certain affiliate related searches like 'viagra' and 'make money online' would IMPROVE rather than get worse like they have.

but hey...

i understand if you want to just come in. Make a statement. Then back out when someone points out a flaw.

Quality raters are full of shit. I personally know a few. Some of them rate sites on 3 PCs at a time using 3 different accounts. They don't use brains while doing that job, just use the wildest of imagination with a 3-second (maximum) thinking time devoted to each site they have to "rate"

The ratings don't have an immediate affect on the algorithm or rankings, but they do have a major impact on future changes. I'm just saying that for the past few years there have been very few queries and urls that have come up for what are obviously affiliate sites (ebay/amazon/regular network offers/etc). But since last fall, some raters have been seeing almost nothing but those kinds of sites and terms. So it's obvious that Google is directly working on their algorithm for the exact types of sites that WF members crap out.

Calling bullshit on this one. Raters can only work for one contractor at a time and SSN's are cross-referenced by Google. None of the rating systems allow more than one login at a time.

^^^13 words ranks you. So screw you fuckers who write 1000/2000/10k homepage shity articles. The new trend is 13.

PS: Actually it is quite entertaining to see this kind of crap all over the serps. Nice fuck up scroogle.

PPS: And my rankings are fine, thanks for asking. My biggest asset now is a content farm with 1 post consisting of "hello World this is Jesus". Ranks #3 for "hello world this is Jesus". Take that scroogle.

Where does that put KY density? Somewhere around 20%?

We all know Google is not disclosing enough info about anything it does. Every rater can't have an SSN because they have a lot of raters outside the US too. Actually they also have 3rd party companies doing the rating thing for them, and they do hire hundreds of raters outside the US. They don't openly disclose even to the raters that the rating is being done for Google. I do know some who spend 3 secs of thought per rating.

Every rater who rates English (US) sites has an SSN, because US raters only work for one of three contractors. If you know people who spend three seconds rating a site, they wouldn't be a rater very long. And why would they do that? You get paid per hour, not per site you rate.

source: My only employee is a rater and I watch him rate sites daily.
