GoDaddy and Nameserver IP Updates

I'm trying to update my custom nameserver on GD to another host. I entered 4 servers - ns1 to ns4 under my host info and edited them to my new host's IP addresses.

This was on Friday... today the new nameservers appear on domaintools but it still lists my old host's IP address. Does anyone know how long this will take!!? Seems like namecheap is about instant when it comes to this...

can take days with godaddy,

if it's a new hosting a/c , did you register the new nameservers?

You have to setup a BIND server on your VPS if you want domains to resolve. You're sending requests to the server with no nameserver running.
