That's because there is more potential for dialogue in a thread about leaving the country than there is in a thread about affiliate marketing.
Not saying that thread is better than this one (or vice-versa), but WickedFire isn't nearly as much of an affiliate marketing forum as it used to be and it requires a lot more knowledge to be able to talk about Adwords than it takes to talk about Thailand.
Plus talking about leaving the US gives everyone a chance to get on their soapbox and say what they think about the US, Thailand, Hong Kong, or whatever is tangentially related to the post.
This aligns a lot of with my experience... awesome thread man.
I've always found the traffic buying model a lot more interesting than SEO so it's great to see one of these threads about it instead of the regular micro site $5 fiver buying reports.
