Well, I watched all of it and think he has made some very logical points. Unfortunately I've come to the invariable conclusion that his logic is flawed. Let me provide a few examples.
Throughout the video he refers to the relationship of the Master and Slave and how to stop procrastinating we must realize that "Nobody's forcing us to do anything" and that "We don't have to do anything if we don't want to"
He uses the examples:
You don't have to pay your taxes.
(but you might have the IRS banging down your door if you don't)
You dont have to eat.
(but you may end up dead if you don't)
You don't have to smoke that crack.
(but you might get caught and eventually be FORCED to go to jail if you do.)
You don't have to rape that girl.
(but you did so now that girls dad is coming to rape you.)
He goes on to say that you could become anything you want, a clown, astronaut, etc. Technically I could become an Astronaut, Doctor or whatever. BUT since I don't have to do anything what if I didn't feel like going to that 4-8+ years of med school because technically that would be forcing me to do something I don't want to do just to END UP doing something I do want to do THUS RE-ENFORCING THE MASTER/SLAVE RELATIONSHIP AND NEVER BREAKING THE CYCLE.
In the beginning of the video he discusses the Master/Slave relationship mostly everyone has with their parents and the resentment that builds up because of it. BUT - what about all of the cases of children that have used that resentment and hatred to become millionaires?
Do you think Eminem would be a famous Rapper without his fucked up childhood and his cracked out whore of a mom? Or with a nice house in the suburbs and a loving family would he have settled for mediocrity working at Pizza Hut??
I do honestly believe that his way of thinking would eventually lead everyone to a better and more fulfilling lifestyle. More entrepreneurs/ free thinkers, more pansies. Unfortunately, that is not reality and there will always be things (little or big) that we don't want to do. Obstacles that we must overcome to get us where we want to be.
Unfortunately the topic of procrastination cannot be solved with a 30 minute video of some guy speaking out his ass. Now go back to jerking off to your gay porn, people.
