ING Direct has worked well for my personal accounts. They also have business savings, not checking. They have good interest, tiny overdraft, no hidden fees, not much else to say. I don't think about it often because it causes me no problems.

anyways, why do you have 2000 posts here and not have an incorporated business yet?

BB&T seems pretty decent for me so far. Their iPhone app needs some work, but overall it's been pretty easy and pleasant to use them.

I have a business and personal account with them. Only done one wire transfer out, not in. It didn't cost me to do it though, even though on their packet it says $10/per for personal accounts.

Basically, just sit down with the branch manager and have a chat with them. Go to each branch in your city if you can. You'd be surprised at the level of difference between them when setting up a new account. The first one I went to set me up and I could have changed the account type and options to get better benefits. I found out she was only concerned with the commission. The second branch I talked to later, because it's closer to me anyway, told me about it and changed it. I doubt this practice is just BB&T, so get all the facts with whatever bank you choose.

Thanks a lot Rexibit, it is very useful information for all of us regarding some of the good banks with no hidden fees. But the list cannot add PNC bank as Roclafamilia explained its way of working and about the hidden fees that the bank is charging from the users even for any “free saving account” where there is no transaction within a time period of 90 days. But TD Bank is pretty straight forward in dealing with the free saving accounts of the people. TD could be preferred rather than PNC bank if you are planning to open a free saving account.
