Good Places to Live?

They do say that Honolulu is the most expensive city to live in America but for some reason I don't feel like it is.

I have a 3 bedroom apartment for $2,800/month but you could easily find a studio for $800/month which in my mind is on par with most major cities.

Gas is pricey but then again it's less than LA I believe. Groceries are pricey but that's what Costco is for.

At the end of the day you're paying for quality of life. Spending all day, every day, on the beach doesn't cost you a cent.
 
san francisco. i fucking love this city. if you're a people person, this is the best place to live.

for the past few months i've been living in some rural town in california and it's absolutely horrible since it feels really .... alone, but i guess it's the shit if you like being alone and having tons of open farm land, mountains, etc.

i plan on buying a house in SF after i stack some dough. and then having mad sex with chicks (or chick if i get in a relationship) every single day whilst smoking SF medical bud =). the girls in SF are in unlimited supply too.

i will admit tho, i don't feel very safe in SF. a few months ago my friend took a pic right outside her window of a man who just got shot and killed. blood was all over the sidewalk. pretty brutal. but you get used to it, plus the victims are usually people who were asking for it. so if you just play smart you'll be fine.

get a house in Tokyo and a house in SF. and a house in australia for whenever it's winter time in the northern hemisphere so that way you can experience summer 365 days every year.

Well, don't get into debt with the mafia, don't hang around in red light districts with hookers and drug dealers, and don't marry a rice farming peasant, and you'll be fine. Thailand is actually very safe.
