There are over 700k attemps in the US each year. When people keep pulling stunts like this, the people who are actually about to do it won't be taken seriously.

Besides that, I think it's wrong to fuck with people that way. If any of you have ever known someone whose killed themselves then you'll know why.

As someone that's helped talk a friend out of suicide multiple dozens of times and seen a good friend/mentor just randomly commit suicide earlier this year I agree wholeheartedly.

You don't joke about stuff like this.

Whoever called the cops is awesome btw. +rep in real life for you whoever you are.
 
Way to waste your friends' goodwill - better hope you never threaten suicide again because nobody will believe you. Lame move, ban is totally justified.
