Google Chrome... holy shit!

not impressed by Chrome speed, and the add-on is really lacking at this time.

And seriously I am staying with ff 2.0 and something till I will have a real need to switch... then, I will probably install extra browser and I will still use mostly ff 2.0.+ . Oh and besides I'm webmaster and I need plugs like e.g. firebug so.. .

If you think your brand new fresh install of chrome is faster, try a fresh install of firefox and see how it compares to your 6 month old install with 32 plugins and 60 tabs permanently open. I wonder how chrome performs once it's been thrashed like that for a few months... If it can stand the heat then I'd give it a go. I love firefox but it drives me nuts with performance/resource hogging issues after I've been using the same install for a while.

This. In time it'll be interesting to see how Chrome preforms, and when they get some plugins. Frankly I find FF 3.6 pretty snappy.

chrome is infinitely faster for me, but it's lacking some of the extensions i rely on for javascript hackery (debugging complex stuff) in firefox w/ firebug + web developer toolbar.

more importantly, the roboform 'extension' is a hilariously bad implementation, and lastpass just sucks comparatively. so i'm living without formfill a lot of my day.

the fact that i picked chrome over firefox and reverted myself a decade by not having roboform should tell you a lot about how much better chrome is otherwise

Why do you say last pass sucks? I never used robo form, but I've been using last pass. I've even emailed and spoke to their support about the fact the damn program jumps to the password field of my DCPV admin and when I go to make a modification it erases the password, and they were very receptive, and I believe even fixed it.

In your windows go to "run"

type: firefox -P


Add a new profile

Firefox is just as new again - and you can easily switch back
