Google doesn't like affiliates.

at Ad:Tech SF, the Google lady was smiling at me pretty big, until I told her I was an affiliate marketer. Then it felt like heavy clouds just rolled in and I got the sense she couldn't stand sharing the same air as me. Hi Hater
the slaps are getting fiercer I used to get slapped then re submit and last for like 4-5 days. Then it became like 2 days. then like a day. Now it like 8 hours and they are slapping me.. this is fukin frustrating
Your best bet is to use a url cloaking software or a iframe so that the url google picks up is within your domain
I may as well add my bitching, while we're at it. I'm still trying to recover from one particular slap that killed a campaign that was netting $1500/day. I've tried all manner of new lps on new domains and get very little volume anymore. My main competitor now has free run of the niche w/shittier lps (also an aff, mind you). It would still piss me off, but I would feel better if the slaps were universal. The arbitrary bitch-slapping makes me want to kick a midget.
I've just made a new site on a new domain on a new aw account. The site now has all sorts of free content for visitors with just a few aff links. Maybe it'll make G happy for me to piss away tons of cash in order to give stuff away for free.

It will be interesting to see how this all progresses. Google hate affiliates and treat us like we are worthless. It's harder and harder to have a consistent PROBLEM FREE campaign any more. I wonder what the future holds for affiliate marketers...
