Google Filing Suits Over Bissops!!

I have a feeling that the people included in the suit probably know it by now. I'm sure Google has been working on the suit for a while. I doubt they just filed the lawsuit against PWW without knowing who any of the other 'does' are.

Like someone else said, they'll always leave it open to having additional 'does' so that if there's someone else they want to add to the suit they can easily do it.

As far as being served, I thought to be officially served someone had to hand it to you physically hence the reason for process servers.

I think this depends on the state, not sure if this will fly because what if someone rips it off your door or something. I thought they had to physically hand you the papers.

they can also throw it at your feet so long that it touches you, caveat being they then have to say "OOOGA BOOGA!" as they do it.

What happens if they can't find you? Will Google choose to postpone the whole thing until they find John Doe #23 or just continue without him.

If they can't find you or your most recent address or your roommate or anyone you live with, then you don't get served.

Had a call with our Google team about a week ago, and found out this is just the biggest issue in a laundry list of "scammy" offers that they want to crack down on. They obviously focused on this vertical first because of the use of their name, but there will be many more rebill style offers to come.

yea you should have recorded the call, I'd be interested to know why other lead gen and affiliates selling their own products got banned also.

Google can go lick my fucking taint.

Crack down all they want this is the one they can sue over, the rest they can just ban and whine and complain- you know how they've always handled business.
