Google Glass Teams With Ray-Ban And Oakley Maker Luxottica

Hopefully, they make them less obvious. I was at a Hooters-style restaurant the other day and they made the creepy guy with the google glass leave after he refused to take them off. Luckily, I... I mean "he" got some good video for the spank bank before having to leave.

Pretty soon, we're all going to be like our own personal versions of James Bond. Smart phone, smart watch, smart glasses, smart car, smart TV, smart home, all connected online to no end.

we like being connected.. leading me to an idea I had.. mobile app that uses GPS to alert/connect you with others of similar specified interests.. aka meetup.com on steroids.

and ultimately leading to a merging of every individual species into a single, self-aware being.

There's a framework for something kinda like that but for advertisers, but you put up "geo fences" and "interest areas" in the real world and as customers pass through these areas it can throw context aware content at them based on where they're standing.
Extend targeting of mobile ads beyond ‘what the customer is doing on mobile device’ to ‘what the customer is doing in the physical world’ matched against the interests found in the customer’s profile

This reminds me of an app someone here on WF wanted to develop where you could text chicks from across the same bar you both happened to be in (as opposed to actually having to talk to a girl in person). Who the hell was that, cause it was a shit idea then & now.
