Google Joins The Battle Against SOPA

Yeah - you bastard.

I've gone, I'm going to say well over a year, without falling victim.

It was the mention of FB, clicked without looking.

And I had like 15 open tabs messing with hooks in Thesis. That shit confuses me enough without spinning dicks in my face.

Well played sir. Well played.

How does anyone that's been here more than a day not check every link b4 they click it?

You get a new computer without a modded hosts file, you get forgetful, and bammo your looking at gay porn you can't turn off.

I'm guessing.

This really isn't a surprise but I was wondering if they were going to perform some sort of "blackout" or not.

Google to protest SOPA on its homepage tomorrow | VentureBeat

Thoughts?
Did you read the article? There won't be a blackout...just a link posted on the homepage. I wish the big sites would black out, but it doesn't sound like any will. I don't even think Twitter is going to do anything.

Even if SOPA goes through I'm sure 4chan will find us a way around it.

Probably because other 'big sites' actually have an income. The only thing Wikipedia has to lose is traffic.

I think they could have tried a little harder

it would be really funny if the forum could track the ones who click on the link

I did read the article. I was expecting a little more but its better then nothing at all. Craigslist did a much better job at getting the point across to its users.

It may be against the spirit of STS but there's only so much "burning eyes" a dude can take. No script and Flashblock have shielded my sensitive Iballs.
