Google just scammed me out of $2,000

I highly doubt thats even true. I dont even recollect getting any money on adwords as refunds from fraud clicks and they ban almost 1000s of accounts every month for click fraud? where does all that money go?

Lemme guess, those mofo adwords employees are securing a bonus.

if thats what they are doing in adwords, am confident they do the same with checkout. they are greedy afterall. OP, sue those fuckers for $2000 at small claims courts and you should get the money back. The good things is they can't bring a lawyer in small claims court so you can prove it easily that they tried to fuck with you.

"We reserve the right to terminate any account at any time without reason" will not work in small claims court. Dont hesitate to sue them and when you win, paypal me 10%

I doubt it. There has to be a SOP for this kind of stuff and I dont think that customer refunds is on their agenda.

Two years ago I was selling a lot of inventory, a lot more than $2k a day. After several successful payments received from Google, I got stiffed on the 3rd week to a tune of $10k. I ended up calling my customers to find out if they received any details from Google Checkout, and all of them said that they received a refund from Google.

During that 3rd week I spent a lot of time reading up on forums about Google Checkout and reaching out to people that got placed in my shoes and all of them saw their money get refunded back to the customers.

Luckily in my case I was able to recover close to 80% of the money that was refunded thanks for the higher morals my clients had. One customer that accounted for that 20% literally told me over the phone "Tough Luck" when I asked him if he could re-pay since he received the money back.

So I am very certain that the OP's clients all received their money back, at least that would be the case 2 years ago.

Monthly wires?

Google Checkout sends me my money EVERY TWO DAYS.

THIS as well. I'm not sure why the fuck the OP is getting paid monthly when Google only waits two business days for a payment clearance before wiring you the money.

How did you get upgraded to that? I had my account for about 8 months and I only got paid once a month. Even their terms imply that you should only get paid once a month:

Google automatically initiates payments to your bank account on the second of the month; exceptions to this are weekends or bank holidays.

Could be because you were using Checkout for a lot more business than I was and there's no reason for them to send wires for 2-digit daily amounts.

I get my payouts following a two day hold as well. Didn't do anything special, it's always been that way.

Google & Yahoo are notorious for responding with less than useful links to various portions of their terms of service. They figure it's your responsibility to know what they do & don't like and they always put their end search users above merchants/marketers so I'm not surprised.

Bro if you're doing digital product go ClickBank all the way, or just do PayPal+e-Junkie and refund all refund requests.

2CO is your last alternative though, the fee is crazy but they're good. Their API is an added bonus.
