No you do not get unlimited calls if you call from your cell phone, because you still need a carrier service to interact with Google Voice. Basically all you're doing is taking your current cell phone #, transferring it to Google Voice for $20, then getting a new phone plan with a new number to interact with G Voice.

The problem being that when you make outgoing calls your new number shows up, so for example when a chick asks you to call her to exchange numbers, you're giving her the wrong number - especially if she turns out to be a crazy stalker bitch you want to call screen later.
