Google Wave



Ok, for those with Wave access but no mates :) :
To find all public waves to test joining the discussions, you can search for with:public (that's 'with: public' but without the space.
To make a Wave doc public yourself, first add the user public@a.gwave.com (by clicking the plus icon in the contacts bar, pasting in that email address, ignoring the message about this user not being found, and hitting return instead). Then, on your document, invite that user.

I'll go out on a limb and say your husband is cool as shit. I'm actually more excited to meet the guy who bagged turbo than most people who actually post. It's a very unique chick that can pwn the many personalities around this place ... it's a very, very rare man that can harness this power & claim it as his own.

Without showing my hand, my plans for wave have to do with streamlining work flow ... it's not going to be a social gathering or communications medium at all. For now, I'll just play around but the real damage can be done when they release the open source version that can be installed on any LAMP box. Anyone have an ETA on that?

I completely agree. I too will go out on a limb and say that I have a feeling a good many men around here appreciate women like that as well (whist the general public, probably not so much, but then again wf personalities are pretty atypical in most ways.)


Now back on topic...I commented in the wickedfire public wave. (Right now I've only received the invite for my hubby's account so if you see some random guy name Steve yapping, that's me :D )


EDIT: Oh and I don't think I have the ability to invite anyone yet? If I'm missing something please someone point it out to me so I can pay it forward here.
 
I finally got in from Jonh_N too. Took quite a while. I also don't see anywhere I can send out invites. Unless I am a retard, which is quite possible, I don't think they are giving them out to invitees of invitees.
