Has anyone here had this problem with Googles?

A couple of months ago i was banned from Googles for repeatedly releasing ads for Satellite to PC. I was warned that the website i was promoting was considered hacking and cracking.

I assumed ,they only meant that particular website ,i didn't know they meant all Satellite to PC websites were now considered hacking and cracking.

So i changed my URL and ad ,and promoted a completely different Satellite to PC program ,and they said i repeatedly violated the rules and guidllines. I tried to explain to them it was a completely different website ,but they told me those type of sites are considered hacking and cracking.

That's the first time I have heard of it. I don't even know what Satellite to PC programs are. Is it so you can get TV or Satellite on your PC?

Pretty suprising when Google still allows pyramid schemes and financial scams to advertise with them. Actually the #1 advertiser for "hyip" on Google right now claims if you give them $80,000 they will give you $200,000 back in 24 hours.

I'd be interested to know what their conversion rate is. Hopefully not much at all, but who knows.

Google did the same thing to clickbank movie download and music download sites as well awhile back.

Accounts were threatened then too. However if you're into promoting that kind of thing they are still allowing them on MSN and YSM (I'm not saying you should or shouldn't promote them).

The satellite TV for PC stuff really isn't as much of a "scam" as some may perceive the music/movie/psp/etc sites to be, but they come across as being the same type of product.

PC ShowBuzz is even on Copeac.

Shame if Google isn't allowing them anymore, would've made a good 3rd option on a satellite TV comparison site.

Actually, just searched: satellite tv for pc , on Google and I see these services still listed.

Maybe they are still in the process of phasing them out, thats what they did with movie downloads awhile back, took it down slowly over the course of a few months, some clickbankers were crying about it on various forums.

Also a lot of ppl have caught on to Satellite to PC programs. The channels are free to air channels if you know where to look. Just google up TVU player or Podcast and thats what these programs offer once you have paid the $49.00.

I promoted that site once, a while back. Google stopped my ads, not for the reason you said, but because it has a link to a data entry site on it.

As for the 'repeated' violations thing; I used to promote movie download sites, and changed my landing page and ads numerous times after they were initially rejected, even so they would emphasise that they were LEGAL downloads. Google kept stopping the ads and threatened to ban my account if I kept doing it.
