Got my first C&D order

Most companies will have lawyers just send them out by the hundreds. Of course they get paid for every single one. So it's in the lawyer's best interest to send out as many as possible.

I first started getting C&D's when I was 16. First one I got I had an EPN website that was something like lacosteshirts.xxx I found a random "gator" to put in my header. They sent a C&D to take the logo down because of the likeness of their logo said nothing about lacoste being in the domain name.

C&D's are dime a dozen and aren't really that cool to brag about.

lol same thing happened to my epn site when i had affliction in the domain.
 
unlike you guys I'm not actually infringing upon anything like having their copyrighted name as part of the domain name.... Noobs.
 
Meanwhile at the headquarters of the C&D recipient, they celebrate their victory against the company that represented some big brands at one point

C&D for what if if you don't have their brand name in the domain name?
I am just curious, because every time I get a C&D I just start another site by removing the brand name from the domain name... What was this about?
 
First of all, I never said I worked for big clients at some point. Those were someone else's words.

yea branded names aren't in the domain name. They are just mad that we are targeting their keywords to sell products and we are beating them in the SERPs.

There really isn't shit they can do. I just sent them an email with my contact if they want to hire a new seo agency :laughing-smiley-007
 
What I would do is 1st change your who is information so that it looks like your self hosted i.e. ns1.wickedfire.com and ns2.wickedfire.com create a fake hosting site and than send them back a message telling them to go fuck themselves and contact your hosting company (ALA BLUEHAT).

Than smile and head back to warrior forum...

I mean what is the basis of the C&D.?
What is it that they want you to stop, and on what grounds?
 
Yup why peps use real whois is beyond me. Youre going to have to work to send me any letters. In fact i use gift cards for any "gray" strategies now for even more protection.

If theyre mad they can try to send me an email.
