Washington, DC may institute 24-hour waiting period for tattoos and piercings

Washington, DC officials are considering a mandatory 24-hour waiting period before getting a tattoo or body piercings. "The licensee or operator of a body art establishment shall ensure that no tattoo artist applies any tattoo to a customer until after twenty-four (24)hours have passed since the customer first requested the tattoo," reads the language of proposed language of new regulations from Washington DC’s Department of Health.
“We’re making sure when that decision is made that you’re in the right frame of mind, and you don’t wake up in the morning . . . saying, ‘Oh my God, what happened?’ Washington DC Health Department Spokeswoman Najma Roberts told the Washington Post.

I'm not a huge fan of tattoos personally, but damn, regulation like this is going to kill the industry.

While certain things are appealing about Switzerland.. such as the nature, quality of living, certain more liberal laws..

You'd be surprised... Switzerland basically is the definition of "square" People here are conservative beyond belief.

They're already trying to set up "migrant style living quarters" because swiss citizens don't want to live in the same area as foreigners.
