Gravity - excellent movie

It's from the same guy who wrote and directed Children of Men which is one of my favorite movies. I'll see anything he does, even if it has Sandra Bullock in it.

I hate most of her movies too, with the exception of Crash.

It was a thrillride from start to finish. Initially you're wondering what the hell george clooney and sandra bullock are doing in that movie, but 10 minutes in you understand what both characters are there for, and how important their portrayal of those characters is to the story. So damn good.

Meh. I liked it for the first half, then it just got too over the top and there were a bunch of logical problems I won't mention because they are spoilers. Impossible situation after impossible situation. I'm surprised she didn't have to fist fight an alien. Rush was better.

I enjoyed it; fewer logic flaws than a lot of other scifi. It did get a bit overdone, but it'll win an oscar or too.

Maybe most film critics don't know comm satellites are in a higher geosynchronous orbit that wouldn't degrade as much as in the film? [in the trailer, no spoiler]

There was so much more than that though. So much more.
