I think we're all being too hard on Paul.
What he's doing is genius. Think about it.
You find a bunch of newbs (not hard), with money (a little harder), and convince them that you're an Affiliate Marketing Guru (apparently this is extremely easy).
Now, convince a portion of those newbs to pay you $200/month (or $299 then $99/mo) to get complete "Case studies" including keywords, landing pages, whatever. (easier than you would think)
Now, you weed out the ultra newbs. Most people don't understand why he's doing this (why not make money from all of them), and he has even suggested that this shows that he isn't doing UberCamp for the money, but to create a community of ummm, whatever he's trying to make a community of.
Now, here's the best part, by only allowing people who appear to have the money and motivation to drive large amounts of traffic, he's going to make a
$$killing$$ off of them. And it doesn't matter if any of his UberCampers make a dime (or lose thousands). It's genius.
How?, you ask.
Remember, he's going to "help" them get into the affiliate networks. They will, no doubt, be in his downline, so he'll earn a percentage off of their traffic; whether they turn a profit or even lose money is irrelevant. They are actually paying him to be in his downline! Fucking genius!
And, he'll be providing them with everything they need to go out and saturate niches. Sure, no single one of them will be able to profit from those saturated niches, but he'll bank like a mofo.
It's fucking
Genius.
Props to Paul, you go guy!
Hell, if I ever get desperate for money, I may turn to fleecing newbs, apparently it's an easy way to make a killing (I'd just have to find a way to get past feeling bad about it)
