Take 400-800 mg ibuprofen before bed and take a 2 liter bottle of water to bed with you. You get hung over primarily because of dehydration so drink plenty of that water. Passing out without water is the worst thing you can do.

Beyond that, a pint glass sized Bloody Mary, a big fat joint or some bong rips, and a fry up in the morning usually does the trick for me.

I've tried these as well and they help a bit...

Smart UK Liver Support

Smart UK Brain Complex

Some people also swear by fizzy morning after tablets like Alka-Seltzer Wake-Up Call.

I eat a lot of greasy food like lasagna, McDonalds, chips, fried meat, sausages w/ sauerkraut, etc. And some sweets like chocolate, chocolate milk and cookies.
Works wonders for me if I'm hungover :)

Activated charcoal. Take ___ depending on how much you drink at the end of the night with a ton of water. Has always worked when I've remembered to take it (or had someone with me who remembered to shove it down my throat).

Other than that...you lose a lot of vitamins and minerals when you drink, so replenishing those goes a long way. People have already touched on that in this thread.

Move somewhere warm. My hangovers are much less severe after moving to Thailand. I just feel a tired but nothing like the hangovers of the past in colder climates.

That and remembering to drink plenty of water while actually drinking and topping off with some protein and salty stuff before bedtime.

In Thailand they have this nice headache pill mix of Paracetemol and Kodein (prescription), works great at hangover headaches. I've seen Aspirin and Kodein mixes otc in other countries with less of a meth problem. Kodein is much more effective than Paracetemol.

Stop buying cheap alcohol,

all kidding aside, I pound Gatorade just incase..

Seconding Gatorade or anything like it. It really does work and I never get hangovers now. You need to start drinking it AFTER you finish drinking alcohol for the night. Drink as much Gatorade as possible. You'll feel refreshed and hydrated the next day.

You can also drink coconut water in lieu of Gatorade.
