Happy 4th buddy! This weekend was absolute chaos in the south bay here. Did my first ever Hermosa Ironman 
You in North town? lol I just had someone tell me the exact same thing, but it was buy one get one so they get 1k worth of shit for $500.
Crackpot; yeah; my $500 is worth $1k to $1,500. The green sticker fireworks is buy one get one; whereas red is buy one get 2 free. if I dont usually get em here, i go and get ripped off at the avi in laughlin.. and yeah; it's def. whore town with the whore houses there, lol. I almost got a fat ticket; some assclown cop was sitting at the end of my road and came up when I was shooting my 1000th moytar off and was like "do it again and your going to jail". So I went across town to a friends house, lol. Burnt the shit out of my finger.
Didn't see this.. But yeah; a few days prior and after; they tend to setup checkpoints. In fact, last year the store owners told me that the cops tend to sit outside with spotter scopes and watch as you load your car then drive off. lame, but its best to get them months prior if possible.
They got rid of a lot of cops in north town. We didn't even see one to.ight and the whole block was outside shoot mortar s off. It was nice.
Had a mild interaction w/ the boys in blue last night. It was suggested to me that the "permit" that was sold to me by the fireworks dealer was bullshit and if I set one more rocket off I would be headed to the joint. Guess he didnt want to try and load me up on his bicycle so just let me off w/ a warning and sent me on my way.
They actually try to arrest you for letting of 'works on the 4th? so gay. Is that only in Cali?

Roman; all the fun fireworks are illegal in california. We have to drive to indian reservations in most cases (on the outskirts of Arizona, Nevada, etc) in order to get anything that goes up in the air (rockets, candles, moytars, etc). Even firecrackers are banned. California is a police state; F'd up laws when it comes to those, guns, etc.
