Just got a canned message from Google, see below. Thanks Google, although we don't do business together anymore. You banned me, remember?

Happy Holidays from Google

Hello,

As we near the end of the year, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for the time, energy, commitment, and trust you've shared with us in 2009.

With sharing in mind, this year we've decided to do something a little different. We hope you'll find it fits the spirit of the holiday season.

We're looking forward to working with you to build lasting success in 2010.

Happy Holidays,
Your Google Team

You forgot to post the link they included in the email. It's great fun to click on it, forget about it and then do your work off to the side of the screen and then wonder why your extremely nauseated all of the sudden.

Absolutely disgusting. I still get emails about how to improve my campaigns months after they banned me. Millions of dollars spent, no rebills or shady biz ops at all, and all I get is a fuck you... well fuck you right back google.

Their Christmas gifts get worse each year. Two years ago, I got a credit-card style flash drive & a $100 Donors Choose card (so I could choose how to donate the money). Last year, nothing - no email, no gift, no acknowledgment of my money. This year, telling me that they donated money to other organizations (as they do every fucking month of every year).

They clearly value my business.

I know that two years ago, the ad agency gift was a Flip video camera - I think they gave two Flip cameras to an agency managing multiple millions of dollars in spend. Great gifts, Google. Great gifts.

Hell, Ask.com shipped real gifts to an agency client that doesn't even spend too much with them. Makes for some office fun compared to Google's gift. Then again, Google bought me a nice dinner last month at my day job, so I can't really complain.
